- A rebel named Antrim John & Antony Hackett got down in a well from the soldiers one day & when Hackett saw the soldiers coming he gave his ammunition to Antrim John & got away. Antrim kept the soldiers off for hours & they never rushed in on him till he shot a soldier in the thigh with a brass button & then they knew his ammunition was out. The brass nearly rotted off the soldiers leg.(continues on next page)
