    & when he came to the kings palace he was brought before the king & the king kept him there for some time but he formed & acquaintance with the kings daughter & the king was a kind of uneasy about him & he sought for some means to get rid of him & himself & his advisers came to the conclusion that the best thing they could do with Jack was to send him out to capture a wild boar that as after doing a great deal of destruction to the Kingsmen horses & cattle & they told Jack what the plan was but they told him they would give him any equipment or men that he would require but Jack said he would go alone so he started off to capture this wild boar alone & he travelled along way into the forest till he
