- One night as a card player from here was going home from a game he met another man who asked him to play a rubber. It was a moonlight night so they sat down to play. When they were going to part a lot of men riding calves came up & there was two calves with no riders so he got up on one & the stranger on the other & off they went across the hills & dales.
