    of them used to shoot on this old place of his fathers; it was a mountainy place & this night he got benighted so he sat down on a stone to put in the night so Delaney said to him "For God's sake Byrne come to me before I die" "Where are you ould chap" says Byrne "till I go over to you so he went to go up to him to where he was & he could see nothing only laughing & littering in the roche so he went back again & sat down & he heard the voice again "For God sake Byrne will you come to me so he moved off further & he fell down & he knew no more & he was carried to some of the houses the next morning & he lay in bed for a month & Delaney's spirit was never seen again.
