    The Pattern of Ballindoon used to be held on the fourth of August every year, in the "Abbey Field.

    The day happened to be the twelfth of July. The protestant although he did not like Micky, spoke to him, but Micky did not answer him,
    "Its a great day in Belfast" said the Protestant.
    'There will be great days when your in Hell Mr R- replied Micky.
    The dispute ended at that however, for Micky gave one of his own fields for the Pattern, and there were sports held in it up to six or seven years ago.
