   There was an ould man living in Ballyshannon and he was in bed thirty years , without ever getting out of it. They use say that he was going with the fairies whether 'twas true or not, I don't know. He was able to tell them when the sheep were yaning and everything - and he in the bed. This night they were discussing about ploughing a lea field for oats - and he was in the bed listening. They said they'd have to cut all the bushes around the ditch and clear it before they'd go plough it. "Begob you'll do no
