  1. Churning.
    We have a churn at home it is one foot in height. It is worked by hand and their is a dash to it and it dashes up and down. It is about twenty years of age. The churn is made in a quarter hour in (?) time because the weather is hot in winter it takes longer because weather is cool. The churn is made twice a week in summer but not as often in winter time because the weather is cold and the cows has not so much milk. If a man come in when the churn is making he must not bring the pipe out kindled afraid that he would bring the butter. When the churn is made the woman of the house got the dish cleans it and washes her (?)
