Corpse house : Winding sheet cures, things done and not done.Corpse house
There should be no fire put down, while the corpse is laid over board in the room. The old fire should be let die out and the ashes should not be removed.
The clocks are stopped immediately when the corpse dies. No one ever saw a clock going in a corpse house .
The room should not be swept in which the corpse is laid out.There is a cure in the four corners of the winding sheet and they are always cut off and kept for use as cures.
The woman that lays out the corpse has to coffin it.
She must also wash the cloths after the corpse.
The cloths of the corpse are not worn until they are first sprinkled with Holy water.
