  1. Many bad storms have occured in this district but none have occured in this district but none have occured as bad as the night of the big wind 1839. It knocked two houses in Redpark. it was in harvest and the wind was so strong that it blew the stooks down to Bekan from Redpark. Many people left their houses and spent the night out in the field.
    A very bad storm occurred in January 1917. The snow drifted and no one could go any place for months only the people made
