    played by the children going in a round ring and they are called chickens. There is a big girl in front and she is called the saver. An old woman is sitting in the middle and she is called the old hag. The old hag says that the chickens scraped the thatch off her house and she tries to catch them to kill them. The old hag runs around after the chickens but the saver never lets her catch one of them. The old hag is vexed when she cannot kill the chickens so she kills the saver instead.
    We play foll in the middle by getting five stones. Two are put at each side and one in the middle. A person stands at every stone. The fool in the middle stands at the stone in the middle. The children on the outside change places back and forth behind the fools back. The fool in the middle tries to get possession of a stone on the outside while the others are changing places. If the fool gets a vacant stone the person to whom it should belong becomes the new fool. In doing this we have great fun.
    In playing high windows all the children go in a round ring. They catch
