    hold of one another hands and they hold them up high. Some girl counts and whoever the number twenty one falls on come out in the middle. She calls out four or five out of the ring and she catches them. They run in and out under the hands through what we call windows, and when any girl is caught she must stand in the ring again. The same way until they are all caught. Then a new six come out for the next time.
    In playing skipping we get a long rope. A girl takes hold of each end of the rope and begins swinging it around. While it is being swung around a crowd of girls stand in a line and they jump one by one into the rope. The rope goes over their heads
