    The have a long wattle with them, and they put in in on the door. To the end of it a piece of paper is attached, on which a rhyme is written such as:-
    "We are the boys who came from Spain,
    All this day upon the train,
    Our toes are perished in our shoe,
    Give us a glass and don't refuse."
    The straw boys ask the bride and bridegroom to go out on the street and if they are treated well the dance for them. About fifty years ago, the people who were going to be married, went to the chapel on horse-back. When going to the
