  2. In the olden times there was a farmer in Carralockey. He taught children in a barn. The children had no books. He taught them for Communion and for confirmation. he taught them how to serve mass and he also taught (him) them Irish prayers. His name was James Cassidy, Carralockey. He got no pay If he caught he would be put to jail.
