- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The "Glais a Choill" is a plant which grows amongst bushes - used for children's rashes. It is pulled and left to simmer with unsalted butter and then strained.
First three sips of it are given to the child with the rash and some of the ointment is rubbed on the rash.
The wild "Iris" is used for coughs when it is boiled with milk and then the juice is taken.
The "Ivy leaves" when soaked in vinegar and applied with a white bandage is a cure for corns.
