When he came in again the cat was gone. He didn't mind for he thought the cat was no good. The next morning when the man was feeding the hens the old cat and another comrade cat came in. Out comes the old rat again. The big cat jumped on him and held him there until the other cat came. They killed the rat and left him before the man. When they had that done they walked out the door and never came back.
