It got this name because it was said that St. Bridget had a little church there long ago. It was in a small green field and there is a small round little hill in the centre of it.
The Páirce
It got this name because it is the largest field in the village. There is a bush at one end of it and is supposed to have being haunted long ago. The people who heard talk about it would be afraid to pass by it after tweleve o'clock at night. It is a very old bush and is cut away now. - There is a certain field on the premises of John McKenzie which is known as St. Feithin's Field.
It got that name beacuse St. Feithin dwelt there long ago. He had a bed beside the well and was supposed to(continues on next page)- Collector
