   and she sneezed three times on her wedding night, and none of the people at the wedding said God Bless us. That night, she died and it was the fairies that stole her. A few nights later, a neighbour man saw her with the fairies, and her riding on a white horse. He told her husband to get three balls of cows dung, and throw it at her as she was passing him. He did as he was told, and she fell off the horse, when he threw the dung at her. He took her home, and she lived a long time afterwards and she had three children. That is why you should say God bless us when anyone sneezes.

   The blight came in June, and burned the stalks down to the gound. The man of the house and the children used to stand at the door watching the burned fields and they were that stunned by the burned fields, and seeing starvation in their faces,
