  2. We set potatoes every year. We set them with a spade and shovel in drills and ridges. Lime is put mostly on the lea-land or in a boggy nature. The lime is put before any other manure. There were no wooden ploughs used around here. Sometimes the neighbours help each other. Ridges are made
