- There are two blessed wells in Downfeeny and one in Downpatrick and there is one in the Glen.
The one that is in the Glen is called ''Saint Brigits Well''. The one in down Patrick is called St. Patricks well. When any person performs a station in Downpatrick he has to go around the well ten times on his knees. During the rounds he says the following prayers:- Seven our Fathers, Seven Hail Marys, five Glorias. When he has finished he has to roll himself three times in St. Patricks bed which is three or four yards away from the well.- Collector
