- St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland. His place of birth is uncertain. Some say he was born in France and other say he was born in Scotland. In his early boyhood he was captured and brought to Ireland and was made [sic] work as a slave.
He spent six years on Mount Slemish minding sheep for a chieftain called Milcho.
At the end of six years Patrick had a strange dream. He dreamt that there was a ship waiting for him at Killala to take him back home. He set off across the country to Killala. When he reached there, to his surprise there was a ship there.(continues on next page)- Collector
