    the funeral was passing by a small fort in Lisdougue and old man stopped the funeral, suddenly leaping into the field exclaimed this is the spot where the pot of gold is hidden pointing to a large stone in the centre of the fort. When questioned, he exclaimed that he had dreamt three nights in succession of this treasure and although he had never seen this fort befor he recognised it at once.
    The owner of the land Mr. Quigley having heard so much about it he determined to search for the treasure. The greater part of the fort was levelled but without success. The stone in the centre of the fort was boared, but the
