  1. More than fifty years ago, there were two old ladies living in a house, the ruins of which are in our field. Their names were Maggie and Mary Haire This was a thatched house built with stone and mortar. There was one room and a kitchen in this house. There was a place for a bed in the kitchen and it was called a "bedshot". There was a hole in the wall of the room called a "wallcupboard". These two ladies were sisters but they are dead now.
    The ruins of the house are on our land but the most of it was knocked by a storm. There were two windows in this house, one in the room and one in the kitchen. The chimney was made of brick.
    This old house is over a hundred years of age, and is about a hundred
