    OLD CURES
    About eighty years ago a girl in Tallow was cured of evil in this way. A smith died and his father and grandfather were also smiths. The girl was brought to the wake and when in the room of the dead smith, the hand of the corpse was raised to the sore. It was cured at that moment.
