There is a field on our farm called Páirc an Inrí because there was heather growing in it one time but it was reclaimed and is a good field now.
There is another one called Páirc a' Cotraig because a man named Cotter had it one time.
Páirc na Rába is another field because there was rapeseed growing in it.
There is another one called Páirc na Féithíní because there is a boggy place around the field.
Páirc na nAingeal is another field because a man of the Neills had a garden of potatoes in it and the Neills were always called angels.
Tuar is the townland in which I live. The people used to be bleaching linen there long ago.
Páirc Seáin Bata is another field because there was a man living there long ago and he had a wooden leg.
