Thee is a hill near my house called Carn a' Dreóliín because there was a lot of wrens there long ago.
Carn na dTarbh Dearg is another hill. There was a bull there long ago and he used to be taking care of gold which was hidden there. He used to hunt away anyone that would come looking for the gold. He was an enchanted bull. It is said that a gentleman lived in a castle and it was there he was buried and after his death this bull appeared and it is said that the gentleman was the bull. My father said he hunted a man as far as Walshe's Cross about a mile from the school-house.
