when the horses started off the tracks were all the same way so that on one could tell what way the horses went as all the tracks were coming towards Lusk. It was generally said by the people that the bell was stolen and brought to Armagh. Handed down by Edward Rooney, Raheny, Lusk Died sixteen years ago aged eighty-two years.

At Grace Dieu there is a curve in the ditch about two hundred [yards] west of Tom Hand's house. In the space by the roadside there is the mark of two graves which have been recently covered over by clay which has been thrown out of the ditch when the road was being repaired. The people of Roscall say that two rebels that were killed in the insurrection of '98 were buried there.
