“South-west of Ballyshannon and about one mile west of the Higginstown Cross-roads is a well known as Tober-Patrick...”
South-west of Ballyshannon and about one mile west of Higginstown Cross-roads is a well known as Tober-Patrick which said to have been blessed by St. Patrick. Beside Tober-Patrick is a mass-rock in which there is the imprint of Red Hugh ODonnell's hand. Near Tober-Patrick is Newtown Fort under which it is said that the Danes buried gold.- Collector
