“It is said that in olden times there was a mound which was surrounded by stones at the bottom.”
It is said that in olden times there was a mound which was surrounded by stones at the bottom. Around the stones there was a path four feet wide on which no grass grew and on which the fairies danced. This mound was about a quarter of a mile out the Bundoran road and it was said that anyone who built a house on this spot would have bad luck.A Mr Pullman built a house on this spot and soon afterwards he died. Shortly after (-wards) he died (Mr Pullman) his son died. The next tenant was a lawyer and he shot himself. The next tenant was Mr Myles but by this time the spell had lifted- Collector
