    the chain.
He searched the fields several days hoping to find it but without success.
The following spring my grandfather needed the chain as it was ploughing season. Thinking that John had forgotten about the loan, he went in search of it.
When my grandfather learned that it could not be found he became annoyed. John, seeing this, went out into one of his fields which the “good people” were supposed to frequent and called out three times in a loud voice.
“I want my chain.” “I want my chain.” “I want my chain” and “I must get my chain.”
Scarcely had he the words out of his mouth when the chain was thrown round his leg and he brought it home. My grandfather too returned home a happy man.
