When I came home everybody welcomed me but after a long time the people thought I was magic, so they said they would put me to prison, and by a mercy to goodness I escaped.In a field on the Drumrooske [?] road near the fort in the parish of Donegal, a man built a wall and it was tossed every night so they stayed up one night and about two in the morning a thing came in the appearance of a rat and tossed the wall. Next night it came again. This time it had a red coat and hat on it and tossed the wall. It walked up to the fort and went into a hole.
