    by a giant.
    Will you keep me the night says the Burly Irishman I would and welcome says she but the giant would scent you wherever I would put you, I am a daughter of the King of Spain says she. Well says the Burly Irishman says he I'll stop and undergo the risk. So he went into the castle and turned down to the giant's parlour and stood behind the door until he heard the giant coming.
    Says the giant to the lady I sent an Irishman into the castle. There came no Irishman in says she. Yes there did says the he and I sent him down to my own parlour. When he passed the door out jumps the Burly Irishman and lifted the sword and cut the head of the giant. The head made to be on the body again but the Irishman knocked it off and sent it to one side till it cooled. The young lady ran down and clasped her hands about the Irishman. Thanks be to God says she I'm released once more. She put her hand in her pocket and took out a golden comb and handed it to the Irishman, keep this as a token that you are the man that killed the giant and released me once more. Her father's name was printed on the comb the King of Spain and her Mother's name the
