    Cuaidh Cnapastún – an rí a bhí ar Sidheogaí Mhucrois fad o shoin – cuaidh sé go Connacht am ámhain. D’innis sé do fear as Mucros :
    “Amharc ins an tobar nuair a bhéas mise tamall imthighthe. Agus ma bhíonn dath dearg ar uisge an tobair sin comhartha go mbéidh mise marbh agus ma bhíonn uisge an tobar glan – sin comhartha go mbéidh mise beó”.
    Níl fhios ag na daoine ar amharc an fear san tobar no nar amharc, ach is cuma, níor chualaidh muinntir na
    h-áite seo morán iomraidh fa Cnapastún o shoin. Tá Tobar Cnapastún i Mucros go fóill.
