    A rainbow:- A rainbow in the morning is a sign of rain but a rainbow at night is a sign of dry weather.
    Other signs of the weather.
    (1) When a weasel is seen crossing the road it is a sign of rain.
    (2) If a number of hens are seen standing together picking themselves it is a sign of rain.

    (3) It is a sign of rain to hear curlews calling.
    (4) If more than three rabbits are seen eating late it is a sign of rain.
    (5) It is a sign of snow to see robins perching at the windows and doorsteps.
    (6) It is a sign of storm to see blue lights in the fire.
    (7) It is a sign of good weather to hear snipe calling after night.
    When the cranes are seen leaving the lake and going to the seashore it is a sign of dry weather.
