    had to cross a river by a narrow plank. The river was in flood and the plank was swept away.
    Father Dunne asked his friend to carry him over on his back. The friend agreed. When they reached the other side both were quite dry. The remains of Father Dunne lie in the old Churchyard of Rathmolyon. The authorities were compelled to stop the people from carrying away the clay of his grave as no Catholic house in the parish could be without Father Dunnes clay R.I.P.
    He was a relation of ours.
