    The vales around Bundoran near the wild Atlantic
    Dear old Ballyshannon on the green fields of Gweedore
    The braysaround Stranorlar and the famous Ballybofey
    The hill sides of Clonmany
    And the castle at Glenveigh
    The village of Gortahork and the brays around Doe
    And Glen and bonny Finnstown
    Where bonny rivers flow
    My friends who dwell
    Where oftimes do remain
    Farewell farewell to Donegal
    Till I return again
