    Then early one morning

    Then out stepped bold Willie:
    “I’m sure tisn’t I,

    Then appeared a spirit
    Light, fleecy, and grey,
    It spoke to the captain
    And this it did say:
    “He murdered, he murdered,
    He murdered Miss Browne;
    I’ll rip him, I’ll strip him
    Until he doth drown.”

    The while he did cry,
    He beat him, he struck him
