- There are five forges in this parish. The following are the smith’s names
Joe Boner in Ballylofey, Joe Muray in Ballylofey, Patrick Mc Ginty in Ballylofey, Michael Doherty in Stranorlar, and Kelly’s at the Crossroads
There are slates on the roof of Joe Boner’s forge. Tehee are two big doors on the forge, and there is only one fireplace in it. The bellows are made of very fine leather.
