  1. The old people used to make bread out of oat-meal, and potatoes.
    The people long ago made their bread in the following way
    First they put some oat-meal in a dish, and then they put hot water on it. Next they mixed it and put it on the table and rolled it until it got flat and then it is put on the fire to bake.
    The people long ago made potato bread in the following way
    First they peeled the boiled potatoes that were left over, and made it fine. Next they mixed it with flour and a little salt and made it into a cake. Then the cake is put on the fire to bake.
