    Fork-lore
There is a place in Lettermore called the Fort. The time the Danes were in Ireland they had a tunnel that reached from the Fort in Lettermore to a Fort in Gloughroe. There is an entrance in the ring in the Fort in Lettermore with covered a large flag. When my grand-aunt wasa little girl she often heard the music of the fairies around the fort singing and dancing.
