    They ate three meals in one day, their breakfast, their dinner and their supper. For their breakfast they got oat bread and milk. At Christmas they killed a beast and at Easter also. They ate potatoes for their dinner and they took porridge before they went to bed. The bread was harned on a griddle. They ate fish three times a week and they ate all sorts of vegetables.
