It was a long time since the people started to wear shoes. it was 100years since they started. - There was a shoemaker in Sleadrin and he made shoes out of sheeps wool. And he put a level board on the sole and put wool on the top of it.
He put a board up along side and covered it with wool. And he stopped making them when the new kind of shoes. If the people wash their feet after twelve o'clock at night they would not throw it out because they say it is not lucky. The people thought it lucky to wash their feet in the dew in the morning.
