[?] fordge has black walls and it is about [?] miles from Buncrana. There is a square door and there is donkeys shoes horses and ponys shoes on the door of this fordge. There is [?] on the inside of this fordge door. This [?[ makes ploughs. This fordge has here this long [?].There is a fordge in our district now and the man that runs this fordges name is [?] Doherty. This mans father was a blacksmith long ago. This man uses iron goods. He uses course [?] hammers and many bellows. He has handles [?] he turns round when he is doing any work. [?] shoes horses and fixes ploughs and does many other things. He has four or five bellows. This fordge has a thatch roof and it is thatched every year.(continues on next page)
