The Cow. When the cow calves the people prefer a quy or heifer or female as in time it would become a cow which is more useful to them than a bull or male.
When it is calved it is put into a loose box and a raw egg forced into it to strengthen it. The custom is then to put silver into a bucket and the cow milked into it. The milk is then transferred(continues on next page)- Collector
