    And to far Australia that sunburnt land.
    III
    The ups and down and many rangers,
    And different changes of life fretful stage.
    Sometime's regretting but never forgetting
    The sunny memorys of brighter clime
    I've seen the Indian Ocean with its quiet motion,
    The Red Sea likewise and Egypts sands,
    The Isles of Greece and the Meditereanan
    And the Marble Pillars of Naples grand.

    Though each and all have several beauties,
    Yet Ireland is more prized than thee,
    With its ancient history and pagan mystery
    Buried cities mouldering in decay
    On Glenna Hill the month of August
    What pleasant objects are there in view,
    The western highlands of famed old Scotland,
    Fair Instr, Instragatall and Islay too.

    The heather blooming the air perfuming
    With fragrants incense that can't compare
    And when homewards coming the bee are huming
    Gathering there sweetness everywhere,
    Next coming down on to Gortnagheey
    That quaint old place describe who can,
