    With rocks romantic washed by the Atlantic,
    On the sunny brays of old Ballybann,

    Where generous young men and handsome maidens,
    A social friendship do still prevail,
    The homeless stranger need fear no danger
    To treat them well you never fail.

    Next to mention or claim attention is Mossy Glen
    As we onward go.
    No praise is wanting where all is enchanting,
    On the plesant waters of sweet Kinnego
    If fond of boating the are sometimes floating,
    On the peaceful waters of its tranquil bay.

    And yet untiring and still admiring
    We upwards pass into the Long Glen,
    With its quaint old places and kindly faces,
    Faithful daughters and true hearted men,
    Along with whom on a Sunday morning
    As inclination led my steps that way,
    With jokes and talking and pleasant walking
    To the humble chaple of Ballinacrea.
