    Swellings (1) For swelled leg boil salt water and a class of sea-weed called "feamnach" and bathe them with it. (2) To bandage the legs tightly.
    Burns :- (1) To put buttermilk on the burn. (2) To put washing soda on the burn. (3) To put lime water on the burn. (4) To put paraffin on the burn. (5) To put linseed on the burn.
    Corns :- (1) Wash the corns with parrifin oil. (2) Wash your feet in boiling water. (3) To put poultice of loaf bread and vinegar on the corn (4) Apply a piece of fat bacon to the corn.
    Sore ears :- (1) Put caster oil into your ear. (2) To dip a piece of cotton into olive oil and put it in your ear and tie a piece red flannel round your ears. (3) To put whiskey in the ear. (4) To put a hot lid to your ear.
    Ringworm :- (1) To put the ashes of burned leather on the ringworm. (2) Apply pigs blood to the ring worm. (3) To mix soot and parrifin oil and put it on the ringworm.
    Boils :- (1) Apply the cloth which was boiled in salt and water on the boils. (2) Boil starch and put it on the boil. (3) Chop bluebell roots and put them on the boil.
    A Sting :- Rub blue on the spot where you got the sting. (2) Put a piece of an onion on the
