    nine or ten women would gather to one house. When there would be a quilt a making there would be a frame made about the size of the quilt. Then the cloth was fixed to this frame and then they would start to work. One side of this quilt was red and the other side was blue and when the quilt was made they would have a big night.
    The chairs and stools were made out of bog wood. In those days the carpenter had a lot of sawing. He had to cut the boards out of these blocks of wood. Some would make chairs out of blocks of wood and they would put three legs on them. They would make chairs with four legs also. This is the way that the people lived in those days.
