    the house. The giant began to eat the meat and he said "That smells very like swine" No that is the child "said the woman" for here is its finger it did not get the cooking very good." When the giant was finished he had not got his fill and he sharpened his saw. He looked round them all and he thought this one was the fattest and he cut the side off that one and that was the man who was helping the woman to get ready the swine. When the giant had ate the side of the man he began to sleep. The man down at the corps could hear him snowring and he said to him-self. "This is my chance" and he went up to the house on his tip-toes and he put a bit of iron in the fire. This giant had only one eye and the man ran the red iron into his eye. Then the giant could not see but worse than all he had a magic ring and he threw it and it stuck on his toe. The Giant would ask the ring. "Where are you now" and the ring would say "I am here on his toe" and the giant was about catching the man when an old woman was standing along the road and she had a very sharp knife and she cut the toe
