plack-carded up that the king had a daughter and anyone that would knock a race of her three hundred miles for a can of water, they would get her in marriage. The soldier said that he would try his luck. The next morning he went to the king’s palace and he told the king that he had men that could knock a race out of his daughter.
The two of them started for the can of water. The man who had his leg tied up met the girl going for a can of water when he was coming home with his. He sat down and fell asleep. The girl came and spilled his can of water. The man with his ear left on the road heard her spilling the water. The man with the gun flung a shot and woke up the man. The man had to go back again for a can of water, after the girl. Then the man with his ear left on the road heard her coming a hundred miles away. The man with his finger left on his nose blew her back a hundred miles, and the man won the race.
