    A Funny Story
In Balrothery in olden times very few people had clocks, and some of them who had a clock often could not tell the time by it. So if it happened that you wanted to know the time, you would go to a house with a clock in it, and ask the people of the house, "what o'clock is it?" (the words used in olden times) They would say, sit down me huney and wait till the clock strikes.
